Our Policies
The walls of the Garden
Our policies are the walls of the garden: clear, dependable boundaries that protect children, uphold their rights and help adults act consistently.
But the walls are not the garden itself.
Within them, children need freedom to play, explore, take manageable risks, form relationships, express themselves and grow. Our policies guide professional judgement; they do not replace careful observation, human understanding or attention to the child in front of us.
At Children of Towan, we hold safety and freedom together—creating a protected space in which childhood can remain alive, curious and full of possibility.
